A Real Hero
Michael J. Fox was an incredibly talented actor. He has proved his worth in movies like Back To The future, The Secret of my Success , Life With Mikey and so on. He seemed destined to be one of the best actors of motion cinema till he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
Life was unfair to him. He was too young to contract this disease. But this dude stood his ground, he fought the disease with all his might. He has managed to keep his personal life unaffected by this horrible disease.
Last week he was shown in a political advertisement supporting Democratic political candidates who are in favor of Stem Cell Research. Later, he was accused by radio host Rush Limbaugh of acting or exaggerating his Parkinson’s symptoms for effect, a charge that became a several-day headline throughout the world. Though Limbaugh later apologized M J Fox for his statements after an uproar from media and fans.
He was then seen in another interview with with Katie Couric on the CBS Evening News. If you watch the video , you’ll know the guy’s not faking it. He’s genuine.
I support you M J Fox.
You rock !!!
My inspiration behind Blogging

I first got hooked to blogging when I came across the Head First Series by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates. They have an interesting blog called Creating Passionate Users. The blog is all about Passion, User friendly tech books and new-age marketing.
Then I found Presentation Zen written by Garr Reynolds. This blog not only talks about presentation, it explains the importance of Design, aesthetics and Quality in our day-to-day activities. The intriguing part about this blog is that it is simple yet effective. And yeah, I am convinced, Design is the soul of everything.
A long list of feeds followed. I started subscribing Tom Peters, Guy Kawasaki, Gaping Void, A List Apart.Reading all these blogs made me see things differently. Sometimes I disagreed with what they said and I would comment about it, which would lead to a conversation. This leads to a relationship where the reader is as much responsible as the writer about the content that he writes. I might sound a bit vague here. A detailed post about reader-writer dynamics in the blogging world will follow.
For now, my dear readers send me your favorite blogs, links or stuff you enjoy to read daily.

Getting Started…
![]()
I think it’s high time to write a blog. Why ??Because everybody is doing it. I suppose not. Blogging is such a wonderful tool for personal advertisement. Come to think of it, its also a utility wherein you write your ideas, thoughts, no matter how weird, boring or screwed they are. I mean , who cares if someone doesn’t like it.Don’t read my blog, if ya don’t like what I want to say. I will be honest , I will be myself here. I need not worry about prejudices. I don’t care.
Having said that, I guess when one decides to write a Blog, the toughest thing is to ‘get started’. One has loads of ideas about ‘what to write’ or ‘how to write’. I have been trying to put up my blog since 2005. Something or the other comes up and I ended up delaying the whole thing. I did dirty my hands with ‘Blogger‘. Until I realized that ‘Blogger’ sucked. And I hope WordPress doesn’t let me down.
So, here we go. Almost done with my first post.
Cheers, Anup
