About Me

According to Wikipedia, I’m called Homo Sapiens Sapiens, but I generally beg to differ. That’s because , the word literally translates to “Wise Wise Man” and and I do not know how much wisdom has been bestowed upon me by Almighty. I guess that is why I started this blog, to gauge and augment my level of knowledge.

I work as a professional programmer for an IT services company, to pay my bills. But, I’m more passionate about Open Source programming, although I haven’t produced anything worthy of mention, yet. When I’m not instructing my Computer, I indulge myself with books of all sorts: fiction, non-fiction, semi-fiction; You can call it a big time addiction. I absolutely love reading, I can devour 2-3 books in a week, i.e. if I am not busy with my work.

Watching movies forms part of my recreational activities. But, it has recently become a sort of a weird hobby. I’ve always enjoyed watching Hollywood movies, but being in UK has given me an opportunity to broaden my movie experience. Now, I regularly watch International movies, and they are a real treat for movie buffs like me. I’d also like to think myself as a traveller, I fancy visiting new places, meet new people, have new experiences. The world is just too fascinating to be left unseen. I attribute this fascination to my curious nature, now curiosity might have killed the cat, but it has opened a door to wonderful possibilities for me.
